Design Development
Upon beginning the process, we first looked what’s already out in the market. Then, we figured out how we make can make ours different. I ideated on several shapes but made sure we stuck to one shape for all animals to make them cohesive.
Animals on mugs is anything but novelty. Our aim was not for something groundbreaking. It just needed to be fresh.
To create a fun vibe, inspirations were drawn from animal cartoons.
A basic shape allowed for easier manufacturing and also tied the whole collection visually.

Placement of features were kept consistent with slight variations depending on the animal's natural characteristics.
