Form Exploration
Making use of bristol board, I made various paper cups that embody given opposing adjectives such as “light vs heavy, expensive vs inexpensive”. It was an exercise of visual perception where the goal was for people to guess what adjective it falls under without communicating it verbally. Since perceptions do vary, it created an interesting discussion in class. This also challenged my modeling skills in “paper engineering” since we were asked to create several iterations of different cups.
