Target Market
Before formally diving into the project, I first asked myself, “Who will wear these sneakers?”
The response to my question was brief - teenage girls around the age of 13 to 18 who would typically use the this brand of shoes.
To help me in figuring our the market for this sneaker, I tried to recall some cousins of mine whom I thought would be in this demographic. From there, I created a comprehensive persona using some characteristics I knew about my cousins and filling them with details that would likely be of interest to them.
Concept Proposal
Based on the previously defined person and current trends in the market at that time, I came up with 7 mood boards as a proposal of my concepts. These visuals served as a jump-off points on what directions to take in creating new graphics and color palettes.
Among these, the team narrowed down the concepts to two - Tribal and Rainbowtech.
