Swaying Spoon

Made of wood, plastic and aluminum tubes, this product or “toy” as other would put it, was a result of a rather bizarre approach in which we were asked in our studio class to move an object to the “4th dimension”. By extending the spoon from the handle and making the body sway, it becomes an antithesis of the very functional object. Instead enabling efficiency, it makes using a spoon challenging hopefully leading to a better appreciation of what we eat and consuming in moderation.
